Jan Cox

Jan joined Homeland Properties in 2023 as a part time Office Assistant.  She recently moved to Huntsville to be closer to family but still maintains her position as the Marketing Director for St. John Lutheran Church in Mansfield, Texas.

She is a Texas A&M University alumnus with a master’s degree in Horticulture. As a Tarrant County Extension Agent in the early 90’s, she spent her time writing weekly gardening articles for the Fort Worth Star Telegram, hosting a weekly gardening show on KXAS Channel 5 - Dallas/Fort Worth and a weekly radio spot on WBAP Radio 820 AM. She later owned a retail garden center and landscape company in Mansfield, Texas, that was later transformed into a restaurant which she ran for 20+ years until it’s closing in 2023.
